Singh Sahib Giani Sukhjinder Singh passes away

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Giani Sukhjinder Singh, who was serving as a granthi sevadar at sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib, has passed away at 07:00 am (IST). He was serving as a granthi singh at Sri Harmandir Sahib for many years.
  During his service tenure in SGPC, he also served as a head granthi at Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran for long time before getting transferred to Sri Harmandir Sahib.
  Academically, Giani Sukhjinder Singh was very sound besides having a thorough study of religious scriptures of the Sikh religion.
  SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal has expressed deep grief over the untimed demise of Giani Sukhjinder Singh while extending condolences to his family members.
