Notably, the passports of the 81 wishful Sikh devotees were sent to the Pakistani High Commission for visa stamping by the SGPC.
Sharing the development with Sikh24, the SGPC president S. Gobind Singh Longowal informed that the SGPC had sought 10 days visa (from June 9 to June 18) for the Sikh pilgrims to mark martyrdom anniversary of fifth Sikh master Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji but the Pakistan Embassy didn’t grant visa. He added that the Pakistan Embassy has hurt Sikh sentiments by doing so.
