Genocide Victim and Mother of Bhai Jarnail Singh (AAP) Passes Away

NEW DELHI—Bibi Naseeb Kaur, mother of the former Journalist and Aam Aadmi Party leader Jarnail Singh, today passed away at her residence in Lajpat Nagar 1 of India’s national capital New Delhi. Her mortal remains were consigned to the funeral pyre during evening hours at crematorium situated on Lodhi road.
Bibi Naseeb Kaur was a 1984 Sikh genocide victim who lost her beloved ones during barbaric carnage of Sikhs committed by the fanatic Hindu mobs during Sikh genocide of 1984.
Bhai Jarnail Singh was a journalist who had come to limelight during the last decade after hurling shoe on the then Finance Minister P. Chidanbram. During a press conference, Journalist Jarnail Singh had asked a question about 1984 Sikh genocide to P. Chidanbram but he had refused to answer the question following which Jarnail Singh had hurled shoe on him to express his anger.
Later, Jarnail Singh had joined the Aam Admi Party and had won the assembly seat of Rajauri Garden in 2015. Being a legislative head in the Delhi state assembly, Jarnail Singh had presented a condemnation resolution against 1984’s Sikh Genocide which was unanimously passed by the AAP led Delhi state assembly.
